What to Expect From Your First In-Home Groom
If you've only ever taken your dog to a salon, an in-home groom can feel like something new. Here's what a Puppy Love Lux visit looks like from start to finish.
It starts with a personal consultation
Puppy Love Lux is booked on a recurring schedule, and every new family starts with a personal consultation. It's a chance to talk about your dog's coat, temperament and needs, and to make sure we're the right fit for each other. To request yours, call or text 239-356-0790.
One groomer, one dog, start to finish
Every groom is one-on-one. Your dog isn't waiting in a kennel or listening to other dogs and dryers. Denise works with your dog alone, at a calm, unhurried pace.
All we need is electricity and water
Denise brings everything else. Most clients choose a bathroom, kitchen, laundry room, garage or lanai, wherever is most comfortable for you and your pup.
What's included
Every service includes a fizzy bubble bath, drying and brushing, oral care with enzyme-activated teeth brushing and breath-refresh spray, ear cleaning, and a nail trim and file.
The Royal Bath is the full bath experience without the haircut, perfect between full grooms.
The Lux Groom adds a paw-pad and sanitary trim and the haircut of your choice.
The Kingdom Spa is our most indulgent experience, adding a mud spa facial, hydro massage and paw balm.

Can I watch?
Of course. You're welcome to be present for all or part of the groom, as long as your dog isn't too distracted. An excited or wiggly pup can make sharp tools unsafe, so sometimes it's best to step out for a few minutes and let your dog settle.
Who benefits most
In-home grooming is often a good fit for dogs who get anxious in the car or at a salon, older dogs, and dogs with health conditions who do better in a familiar environment.
When we're done
Once the groom is finished, Denise clears away all equipment, hair and debris. You're left with a fresh, happy pup and a clean space.
